MY DANCE
Trying so many times and failing had become so disheartening,
Who would have thought that taking my first step would be so cumbersome!??.
I tried so many times, but fell as much as I tried.
Faith and tryst seemed to have fled so quickly.
Sitting in contempt, as I lay rest my head on my legs joined together in pity,
I felt a hand wrapped around my shoulders.,, lifting up my head,
I caught sight of the smile on his face as he pulled me up and said;
TRY AGAIN!!!!
Those words felt like a knife piercing through my heart and tearing it into pieces,
Haven't I trued enough!! I exclaimed,
So I have it another trial but fell and this time I got wounded.
He came closer and gave me a smile, stretching out his hand to pull me up and said;
GIVE IT ANOTHER TRY!!
I was getting so angry, instead of being sympathetic, he just gave a smile,
It became worthless trying again, but I felt a conviction.,
I got up and tried so many times but fell.
At thus point I was at the edge of giving up,
He brought himself down to where I sat helplessly, raised my head so high, and with a smile on his face he said ;
YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!
Those words were like rain in a desert,
It touched a dead part of my heart and it came alive..
I got up filled with so much energy,
I trued but fell, and I remembered those words,
So I picked myself up, I took my first step, then another,
Soonest I found myself taking steps I tried doing.
He looked at me with the eyes of a father priding in the joy of his child..
My legs moved me to where my savior stood watching,
With so much joy, I gave him a hug,
And the sound of his heartbeat were like that of a sleeping baby, so peaceful!!!
From taking steps, we ran after butterflies that clapped their wings like the waters falling from the spring.
The garden I once hated had become so pleasing to the soul,
From running, we danced to the sound of the waves, the birds and the trees.
The sound became so intoxicating that we danced so hard, forgetting about the injury I got while trying,
Holding on to his hand and letting him lead,
He found his way into my heart,
And soon I started acting like him,
I moved the way he did,
Smiled the way he did,
Danced the way he did
Until I became HIM..
